Ken Hazel, whose name, voice and friendship is known to many Golight customers, is starting a new venture – retirement, beginning with the New Year. Ken started working with Jerry when Golight was operating out of the basement of the Gohl household in 1995. He brought with him experience as a sales representative, a small business owner and customer service manager. He put those skills to work serving as the “chief cook and bottle washer,” doing anything and everything related to customer service and sales for the company. A tribute to Ken is that he is a friend to many sales reps, dealers and distributors, not just another guy they call to place an order.
Ken estimates he has done more than 100 of trade shows for Golight including shows in the boating, RV, law enforcement. emergency services, auto, trucking and more recently focusing on the military markets. At the same time, Ken served as a Pastor in southwest Nebraska churches for many years. He is now ready to help wife Jackie manage their craft store in Weatherford, Oklahoma in addition to other business interests, traveling and doing a little fishing.
